This plate is compatible with Canon BP (XL2 etc.) JVC BN (GY-HD100 etc.)

This battery plate is designed to run our HD071x, HD089x, HD89xx monitors using your existing LI-ION camera batteries & chargers. It has a built in voltage regulator that steps up the voltage from your 7.4V battery to 12V to run our monitors. It even has a built in low battery indicator to let you know when it is time to recharge or swap out your battery. Now you do not need to lug around an extra battery or charger to power your monitor. If ordered with one of our value line HD071x, HD089x or HD89xx series monitors installation is free.

We recommend using a minimum 5500+ mAh batteries.

5500mAh will last 3 hours 7200mAh will last 4 hours.

Not compatable with Canon 5d/7d batteries (1800 mAh is not enough to power monitor)

We recomend these batteries for use with our battery plates.

To determine how long your battery will last on our monitor use the following formula: (mAh*Voltage)/13000

For example 7200mAh lithium ion 7.4V battery

(7200*7.4)=53280

53280/13000=4.098…

Rounded off to the nearest half hour = 4hrs.
